For those waiting for the 2010 Lee USA Speedway schedule, it has been frustrating. However, for those wanting to finalize a schedule for 2010 at Lee USA Speedway it has been more frustrating.
“We need to get this schedule out so our racers and our fans know what’s going on at the track.” Said promoter Bob Watson from his Florida home. “We want to release the schedule for the world to see, but we can’t until we get final approval from the selectmen.”
The next selectman meeting in Lee is scheduled for February 22 and the track is hopeful of being able to release the actual schedule shortly after that meeting.
“There are some loose ends to tie up with the town and we’ll be ready to release a very ambitious schedule for 2010.” Said Watson. When he was asked about specific dates he would only hint at some of the big events for 2010 but asked that nothing was published at this time. He did tell us that the 2010 schedule, as written right now, is possibly the most fan friendly schedule in the long history of the speedway.
