This time of year can be hard on many people. With the economy the way it has been in 2009, this year is proving to be an especially difficult holiday season.
Lee USA Speedway was fortunate enough to have some great support from the drivers and the fans at the track. As a result, 2009 was better than many had expected at the 3/8 mile oval.
What's a track to do? GIVE BACK of course. Lee USA Speedway was able to make a cash donation to the town of Lee in the amount of 375 dollars. The money will be distributed to those in need within the town.
"Giving back just makes sense" said Bob Watson. "Our goal is to help the community in any way we can. We want to show that race tracks are a positive member of the community."
We have included the letter that the town sent to the track. We hope the donation helps some families in need.
